Public Safety

Ed Apple is committed to creating a safer Shelby County by strengthening the vital partnership between our law enforcement agencies and the local community. His vision focuses on ensuring that every neighborhood in our district remains a secure place for families to live, work, and thrive. By prioritizing effective public safety strategies, Ed will work to ensure our parks are secure and our streets are protected, enhancing the overall quality of life for every resident through proactive and accountable leadership.

Education

Ed Apple believes in elevating expectations and educational standards in Memphis-Shelby County Schools. He supports increased accountability measures to drive better performance and outcomes for students and families. Ed knows parents want schools that prioritize student success, focusing on meaningful educational opportunities that prepare young people for a bright future. Strong schools create opportunities for students to enter the workforce and lead successful lives.

Economic Development

As a local small business owner, Ed understands what it takes to build a thriving local economy. His economic vision involves promoting our homegrown businesses while simultaneously attracting new industries to District 13. By reducing red tape and fostering a pro-growth environment, Ed aims to create stable, high-quality job opportunities right here at home. Meet Ed Apple

A lifelong Memphian, Ed Apple attended Avon Elementary before graduating from Ridgeway High School and the University of Mississippi. Before founding Apple Partners Real Estate in 2018, he worked in capital markets at Morgan Keegan, and Pacific Global.

He turned toward real estate with the goal of making Memphis a beautiful and safe place to live. As a developer, he has worked broadly across commercial and residential real estate, including assisted living, memory care, and multi-family properties.

His purpose lies in serving the broader Memphis community. He is a member of Idlewild Presbyterian Church and has served on the boards of St. Mary's Episcopal School for girls, Pacific Global, and Medicos.

A devoted father and husband, Ed loves spending time with his family and being outdoors with his Labrador retriever, Leo. A lover of history, culture, and economics, he has read the biographies of every U.S. president from the founding through the twentieth century.

Early Voting

Early voting runs from July 17 to August 1 at designated locations across District 13. Make your plan to vote early and avoid the rush.

Election Day

Election Day is Thursday, August 6. Polls will be open for all registered voters. Be sure to bring a valid ID to your local polling station.
